My guest on this episode believes we need to reframe the narrative that a breakup is the end of something and instead view it as the start of your journey to self-realisation.
Amy Ransom is a writer, blogger and author of several books, including The New Mum’s Notebook and her newest release The Soul-Soaring Virtues of Separation.
Amy is passionate about spreading the word that the end of a relationship doesn't have to mean despair. Separation can be the enabler to live a more authentic and joyful life. In 2016 she separated from her husband with 3 small children and it turned out to be her most positive experience yet.
This episode isn’t just about separation though, I believe she is offering a process that’s useful for anyone contemplating big change.
We talk about:
-
The surprising way her marriage ended
-
The aftermath of early separation
-
How to discover lost parts of your self
-
The process for any big change
